“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”

Karl Lagerfeld (2007)

William uses handed down equipment to photograph distressed and underground motifs hidden in everyday urban environments. Focusing on his home city of Coventry, William photographs its ever-developing landscape and construction, as well as the graffiti and urban scene juxtaposed against its historical architectural landscape, in a documentary sense. These forgotten landscapes are overlooked, somewhat hidden; the photos aim to depict everyday hidden scenes and artwork.
